    Shell Scripts and Cron Jobs in Magento 2

    Shell scripts and cron jobs give us the possibility to do complex series of tasks in a quick manner, so they are great for elaborate and repetitive needs. Backend developers know how often we get tasks to, e.g. update product attribute, customer attribute, custom table data, and so on. The easiest way to do it is using the shell script. If it’s a repetitive task, then we use crons to periodically run shell scripts. If you wish a quick check / update on local, there is a solution for that, too. We were all using these methods in Magento 1, but how it goes in Magento 2?
